(oh and maybe armin should release a compilation which has more forgotten "classics" as well, like "beat pusher - rokki", which Rebel9 mentioned. it would probably sell well because armin compiled it and it would maybe introduce some "new" old tunes to people. but i doubt this will ever happen and i'll probably never get rokki on cd in full lenght! (i fucking love that tune))

thats a good idea, they should release a forgotten classics 4cd instead of classics that everyone has heard (or at least everyone listening since 99-01) or whatever years the cd takes tracks from. i dont like the tracklist of this cd too much. besides how are you goin to leave out songs like

jose amnesia - the eternal/last sunset in ibiza
airwave - escape from nowhere or some other old ones
old fire and ice. i guess you cant get everything in there, but some of the stuff doenst belong on there, g and d - arcadia, solid globe - sahara, im not knocking the tracks but are they really classics, ffs, they arent even that old.

Rapidfire: And? All those ferry tracks are wicked. He did A LOT for the trance scene so I dont see your point in this at all. You would really prefer hearing the gabriel and dresdren remix of beautiful things over the gouryella tracks or out of the blue?

I do agree with the fact that the whole 4 cd's is just completely over done tracks. We all have heard this before so its pointless to buy his shit really.

But i guess for all the new fans its definately a good thing. So they can see how trance has been garbage for the past 3+ years compared to some of those older tracks

Even if we go on blindingly obvious trance classics that have been ommited:

1998
Café del Mar
Xpander
ANY Paul Van Dyk
ANY BT
ANY Chicane
ANY Tilt

...and so forth, cutting out all the acts which are two old-skool or unknown for the ASOT crowds, can you honestly say we should have eight tracks of FC trademark supersaws in place of any mention of that list above?

I think we've had quite enough of '98 & Cafe Del Mar releases as it is, though...

Well I've had quite enough of about 70% of this album, but if you're going to make the argument of "It's good for getting all the classics unmixed" then you'd want Café del Mar and 1998 on there.

EDIT: After all, you can get most of the Ferry Corsten classics unmixed on these:

Actually I'm glad there are no PvD tracks on it. Overall the tracklist is acceptable. And I agree we're already sick of 1998 & café del mar. You can always moan about the tracklist, there are just too many. He could easily make another 4CD.

I would also like tracks as

Schiller - Das Glockenspiel (Humate Remix)
Jam & Spoon - Odyssey To Anyoona
Kamaya Painters - Far From Over (Oliver Lieb Mix)
Systematic Parts - Deja Vu
Bypass - Cyberia
Some Push & Airwave tracks...

appear on it. But you can go on endlessly like this. This CD is good as it is, maybe we can hope for a second release in the future.

Lange - I Believe
Lange - Follow Me
Rhythm Of Life - You Put Me In Heaven (Lange Mix)
Lost Witness - Happiness Happening (Lange Mix)
Lost Witness - Red Sun Rising (Lange Mix)
Atlantis Vs. Avater - Fiji (Lange Mix)

I can't stand "I Believe". One of the most annoying and unlistenable songs I've ever heard.
