I think a good metaphor for a weapon of striking is this:

Ite, so there is this guy ok, and hes trapped on an island. He rants and raves and does nothing. But one day he walks up to a tree and kicks it. The tree shakes and he feels powerful. That kicking motion was like a striking object.

but heres the twist, a coconut falls on his head and kills him. The coconut harnessed the pure zen of a striking object and simply WAS as it fell.

I think we could all learn from the coconut.

yeah but the coconut was a LIVING object BEFORE it fell. so you could say that its fall was violence and it lead to death, so violence is wrong even if it's unintentional. also that the top of the head (toward the back) is where the body's only fixed joint, the skull, is weakest - and so makes and excellent target. Like the exhaust vent in Star Wars except not surrounded by laser turrets.

I think the biggest thing you have to remember when kicking someones ass is that it isnt about who is stronger. Like, a really fat dude is technically "stronger" because he can support like 500 pounds on his legs. But, sometimes strength is a weakness you know, because if did a swan pose and then blew his kneecaps out with a shotgun, it would be really easy to punch him. He probably would only be able to dodge maybe 50% of the strikes.
