Good read about Sampras talking about Federer.

Been watching a few highlight of Federer, his backhand is probably the best in the game and he hit so many winners with it and his passing shot is out of the world.

It still MAY not be the best, but his forehand is the best shot in tennis, no one doubts that

That's Tony Roche, who used to coach Ivan Lendl and Patrick Rafter, and supposedly Federer pays him by the week.

do you think roger federer just started his peak, at his peak, or almost past his peek performances, and will come to a decline soon ?

it's pretty strange how clay surface is the kryptonite for many great tennis players.

he's at his peak but he doesn't look to be headed in a state of decline anytime soon. as for clay, i think it's only "kryptonite" to some because they did not grow up playing on it. If you had an kid splitting his/her time on both surfaces they would proabably fair well on both.
