Actually yes it is. It's definitely a genetic trait. If we were still wild then he would never reach the alpha male status, but we're not wild anymore and we have become much more tolerant. As a race now he is able to become CEO of a company if he chooses to. It will be harder as he may not possess the alpha male characteristics but it's a hell of alot better than 10000 years ago where he would have just followed the leader, and all the women would just cook, clean and take care of the children.
