So what else is he saying?

And he is just yet another example. I took introductory physics at Western in first year and the professor there (Dr. Patrick Watson...two PhDs, one in conceptual physics and the physics of space) seemed convinced that UFOs exist and that the technology level that can be discerned by watching the available footage is beyond our means. That was back in 2002. I wonder what he has to say now.

If nobody will give accomplished academics, pilots, former government employees privy to sensitive issues the time of day, how do you expect any "empirical and rational" evidence to be carried out? Since when has first hand, eye witness testimony been so doubted? It is an accepted form of education, communication and historical research but yet it doesn't apply at all in this case. They must all be CRAZY or ATTENTION LOVING LOONIES!

But the Bush administration did lie about WMDs. Everyone knows that. What did Jimmy Carter lie about. He had some kind of personal UFO experience and tried to get at what the US government has on file and was rebuffed. Clinton got the same treatment about 20 years later.

Not all governments lie to the degree that others do. And Jimmy Carter was ten times the President that either Bush was.

Maybe I'm too curious for my own good? Maybe, but I'd rather go investigate the smoke that causes the fire, rather than ignore it and die in a burning house, if you get my meaning.

No matter what you say...it could be:
"I don't believe in aliens"
"Those unexplained objects COULD be aliens, but they could be something else, I just can't explain"
"Those objects could only be the work of God"

or any other wide variety of replies.

UNLESS you are stating that those objects are in fact aliens b/c they can't be explained otherwise and authoritative, credible people say they are, Smitty will say you are being childish, naive, ignorant and stupid for not believing they are definitely aliens.

Actually, Lisa, where have I said any of that?

All I have done here is try to stimulate some discussion on this issue. I have my own opinions and am inclined to believe in SOME of the alien theories more than some on here, but I am not the one posting pictures of retards with tin foil on their head or calling people idiots and nitwits for simply suggesting we start considering an issue more closely BASED on the numerous pieces of footage and testimony I have posted on here in a serious attempt.

What do I get? Clearly biased cynicism and name calling. Cheers for TOTA.

I will not discuss this matter any further until people watch the Out of the Blue documentary. You want more evidence? Watch it and get back to us.

All of what I've been talking about in this thread is summarised, evidenced (at least a good attempt) and added upon here.

But I guess this can't be taken seriously as a documentary because it's about UFOs and ETs right? It should only be on late at night on the Space channel!

Are you frickin' kidding me? Do you want me to quote every single time YOU have also called people ignorant and naive for thinking aliens are silly, or not believe you're ideas? Ya you got called names when you were feuding with Digi....but on a number of occasions you called people names who said nothing insulting to you, except for disagreeing with your beliefs.

And I highly doubt I'm the only one in this thread that believes that if someone posts that those objects COULD be aliens but they also COULD be something else that you're going to go on about how the only explanation is that they're aliens. I know this b/c as I've been reading, I'm not the only that has pointed this out.

If I really cared, I would go through and show the quotes, but just as you leave people to do their own research to prove your points, I'll let you do your own research to prove mine.

But I do think people ARE silly for refusing to CONSIDER this issue based on the evidence that is available. That's one of my main points. I'm not asking people to believe ME personally, but what I am asking is that they think about this seriously and as objectively as possible, again based on the things that we can see with our own eyes. Yes of course they could be other possibilites other than aliens (I honestly don't see what though...any ideas? lol), but the issue doesn't seem to be even be taken seriously by half the people here.

This SHOULD be a serious issue and we SHOULD be looking into openly and without any censorship. BUt nobody has really responded to that either. The disinterest is what's got me a little ticked here.

But anyway, watch that documentary if you want to keep talking here. As I said, everything I've brought up is in there and evidenced very well in my opinion.

I actually have watched it and liked it a lot. It's not that we don't want to believe in extraterrestrial life, UFOs and such topics. But you have to realize that there is a very mysterious universe out there with endless possibilities, and with the very little we know about it you are just drawing your own conclusion, which doesn't make you look open minded at all.
