Okay, here is basically what happened. While in Miami my boyfriend at the time just wakes me up and says "I am leaving Miami, and you have to pack your shit, find a new place to stay and a way home because I am not taking you back." Honestly, I dunno what I did to him. We were having problems, but I always went out of my way to be nice to him.
So, naturally, I panicked. I was alone in Miami and according to him I only had a few hours to find a new place to stay. I remembered Mel was supposed to be in Miami and she had gave me her number. I know I shouldn't have called considering we didn't really know eachother, but I was terrified at being out on the streets of Miami. It was really stupid and looking back I regret doing it, but like I said, at the time I was really scared.
Luckily things worked out and I didn't end up on the streets. :]
So I met Mel (still feeling kinda awkward from the day before) and I thought everything went well, I thought. She talked me into the idea of going to see James Zabiela with her the following day.
Friday comes, and I ended up backstage at Ultra. I was super excited and called some friends, and I dunno why, but I added Mel into the mix (since I was going to have to call her anyway to let her know I was going to be late to the venue).
Well, she didn't go to the thing on Friday, and I felt like maybe I had been too friendly to her, so I wrote her a message apologizing for being too friendly too soon and if it made her feel awkward. I do have a bit of a problem with treating everyone like my best friend when I meet them. I dunno why, I just do. Its the way I've always been...
Then Saturday I called when I didn't see anyone at the lunch spot. That was it.
I...guess that qualifies for SWF-ness? I dunno. I'd feel bad if I made her feel awkward in any way. Like I said, I just have a bad habit of being too friendly with people too quickly. I'm fairly sure I'm not bi-polar, just had an unfortunate event during the trip that didn't make me think straight. |
That doesn't make sense. You weren't really all alone if you had some friends to call on. ?????
