Sand Leaper - 040509

Planet B.E.N. - Trippy Future Garden
React 2 Rhythm - Intoxication (Bedrock Mix)
Leftfield/Lydon - Open Up (Dervish Overdrive)
Acorn Arts - Candyman (3-D Mix)
Virtualmismo - Mismoplastico
Lil' Mo Yin Yang - Reach (Yin Yang Dub)
Phuture - Inside Out (Roy's Rad Nomad Mix)
Rejuvination - Requiem Pt. 2
Fuzzy Logic feat. Erire - Obsession (Danny Howells & Shango's Illogical Infatuation Mix)
Sunscreem - Perfect Motion (Simple Dub Mix)
Sublime - The Theme
D.O.P. - Lion
Glam - Hell's Party (DFC Team Mix)
Gipsy - Skinnybumblebee (Stingin' Dub)
X-Press 2 - Rock 2 House (London 2 London Mix)
Age Of Love - Age Of Love (Secret Knowledge Mix)
Castle Trancelott - Indoctrinate
The Prodigy - Climbatize
Billie Ray Martin - Your Loving Arms (Brothers In Rhythm Club Mix)

This looks shit hot, and not far from what I might have spun if I'd been given progressive house. Downloading now, and I'm looking forward to hearing Reach (without the shitty Basement Jaxx remix, for once) and the Bedrock remix of Intoxication for the first time.

enjoyed it. rather like 2nd half more than 1st half when the anthem bashing came out, but still a good mix and fairly educational. nice mix of well known and not so well known tunes

montana I listened to your eurodance mix and enjoyed it. While I can't say I'd listen to it often, it was a lot of fun to go through. Really energetic and loose, mixing was a little noticeable in places but it's completely understandable, this stuff sounds really difficult to mix.

Nicely put together. I remember being really young and I kept turning the radio in my mom's car to a station that played stuff like this, it was always the bigger anthems though. Thanks for sharing.

Sand Leaper I gave yours a run through as well, I really enjoyed it. That was some rip-roarin prog house, lots of goodies I'd never heard before so that was a bonus as well. Good stuff and well mixed.

Anyhow, enjoy the musics.

Thoroughly enjoyed listening to this mix. Lots of familiar tracks and the odd good one I hadn't heard before.

As enydo said, mixing was noticeable in places, but considering the genre and the pace you were mixing with, I can't blame you. I fully agree on using this pace when mixing eurodance, it keeps the mix interesting.

Finally, I could tell you had a tough time blending in the Dr. Alban tracks, he sounds like he got assraped by a bunch of rabid chipmunks at times. The effort is appreciated nonetheless

thanks for listening. the mixing is harsh and really blunt but i'm even honest about that in the first post, if you want to play euro proper there is no way of doing the traditional mixing methods if you don't want to limit yourself with the music and i really like to control the energy with the tunes and not the other way around. it's just sucks out all the fun, now i'm not saying you can't do it but i'm just lazy.

now that whole ball of malarky was just me saying, yeah i know the mixing is shit at points, don't focus on that, focus on the pretty melodies and the rappers & singers talking about how fun love, dancing and the love of dancing is.

bas, i have to admit, i'm now liking alban's voice at the speeds i played him at. he now sounds like a cross between flo rida and a 13 year old wigger thinking he is rasta.

Brilliantly said, but true. I probably would have gone with something faster by him, like 'Let the beat go on' or 'Long time ago'.

The mixing might be bumpy once or twice, but what I noticed more is how you do longer transitions than I'm used to (and try to do myself). Not to say I didn't like it, just something that struck me as interesting.

You just reminded me I have to do a euro mix one day.. Let's see if I can find the time and motivation after my d&b escapade.

Here's a fun megamix (a bit too anthemy maybe) that features some pretty excellent transitions:

I have the CD at home. It even includes Doop. How awesome is that?

i'm a massive lover of euro and i still can't handle more than 10seconds of doop or cotton eye joe.

the latter was rendered unlistenable once i heard nina simone's version.
