I watched that 60 minute interview with Vick, and I remain unconvinced. First of all, the questions were boring and the replies were scripted. When Vick said he cried in prison and ashamed of what he has done, why didn't the interviewer follow up with the obvious question: Now that he is out of prison, will he continue living a compassionate, law abiding life? Has he ended all the other, undocumented, unlawful activities? And what if he is caught again doing shady shit? What does he think is the correct punishment then?

Secret? I thought everyone knew already.

I guess it is a cultural thing. For me there is a big difference between a pet and a work dog.

exactly. that's always the case with sociopaths. they are incapable of feeling guilt or sorrow. they are usually just upset about getting caught (at whatever they've done wrong).

My boss once told me "the only true crime is getting caught".

i'm sure you are great at what you do, but at the end of the day someone else could do your job a lot easier than an nfl quarterback even if it is as a back up.

They picked him up because 5 years ago he was good....not great....good.

trust me i know what you are talking about and i agree. my sister's husband is from indiana and he goes hunting every year and they all have hunting dogs and stay out in the woods for a week, etc... but those dogs are loved and cared for too. just because they don't get to sleep in bed with the owner doesn't mean they are abused. i know how that goes. it's the same for guard dogs too. when i have a family, i will most likely have a doberman or a german shepard that will be strictly for protection. he'll have a dog house and be outside for the most part and if it's too hot or cold, he'll go in the garage.

it is sad american society is willing to give him a chance just because he's good at football.

remember the shit storm that american soldier in afghanistan got for throwing a puppy off a cliff? he got more shit from that than vick, who killed many more dogs and is doing less heroic shit.

So? My friends unit leveled a mosque with women and children inside. He also blew up a camel with a .50 cal because it spit at him. The real world is ugly.
