I said that Ajax scored very quickly (mn 10th), and may be that french players were not warm enough. Anyway they lost. We'll see next play, it'll be a little harder for Ajax !! I really think

Dire qu'on a préféré Le Guen à Halilodzic (laisse tomber l'orthographe)...

Concerning Ajax Amsterdam, I'm really impressed by this club even if these 4 last seasons were really chaotic...
You've certainly one of the best football school and Ajax has learned the game to the greatest dutch players ever.

I remember this season 94-95 when the club won the champions league with a perfect team :

quote:
FINALE - 24 Mai 1995 - Vienne (Ernst Happel)

Ajax Amsterdam 1-0 Milan AC (MT:0-0)

85' 1-0 Ajax: Kluivert

Ajax Amsterdam (entraineur: Van Gaal)
Van der Sar, Reiziger, Blind, Rijkaard, F.de Boer, Seedorf (Kanu 54),
Litmanen (Kluivert 69), Davids, Finidi, R.de Boer, Overmars
Milan AC (entraineur: Capello)
Rossi, Panucci, Baresi, Desailly, Maldini, Donadoni, Boban (Lentini 86),
Albertini, Costacurta, Massaro (Eranio 90), Simone

Do these players have succeed in their next clubs, I'm not sure about that...
Kluivert would have deserved a better carrieer above all in the national team.

So, I hope the new generation (Ibrahimovic rulessss )will be as great as the last one even if dutch championship loses its best players every year because of the "money attraction" from the other richer championship.

Good luck for the next matches!
And rendez-vous au Stade Gerland (even if I don't live in Lyon) for the next match...

You guys are lucky, the biggest talent and the best dutch player of this moment (Rafael van der Vaart) is injured He really is the man!!!

Lyon played a pretty good match, 1st half wasn't good, but they impressed me in the 2nd half, you guys get the 2nd place in the group

1. Ajax
2. Olympique Lyonnais
3. Inter Milan (overrated team of the century)
4. Rosenborg

I hope that it will be like this, and Lyon has e pretty good chance with attackers like Anderson and Govou

good luck during the rest of the Champions League

Yes I hope Lyon will success. In my opinion it's the only team in France which is able to qualify for the quarter finals this season...

Yesterday I watched another french team playing in Champions League versus AC Mailand : RC Lens.

Forward Inzaghi scored twice, 2 brillant goals. I don't really like this player (because he is an actor when playing no? )

Finally Lens lost 2-1. At the end they could have egalize because italian players looked very tired. Indeed the italian championship began 4 days ago so they're not completely ready yet.

As for me, AC Mailand is the best italian team this year and with players like Nesta, Rivaldo, Rui Costa, chevchenko and Inzaghi etc... they can beat this fuckin' Real Madrid!!

Wait and See.

I don't know the others results but Bayern Munchen - La Coruna : 2-3 with an hat-trick from Makaay (La Corogne), another great dutch striker !!
