What format was it played on...

If you look waaay back in this thread... it said that tiesto was given that track on CD-R... does that mean he played it on CD, or cut it to a 12"?? I was just wondering what he used to play it. I couldn't see what was happening when he played it, cause we were just too 'mesmorized.'
That song is the best personification of trance i know of.

And by the way, I was at Wintergalatic 2001, and through all the 'craziness,' when that song peaked... it was the best part of my entire life....

Aahhh...i'm so envious of you...to hear that at a rave, i can believe you, one of the best moments in your life, i can imagine, it must be so powerful ! The music playing loud, the crowd, the impression to be out of everything, just the music and you..woaw..

Anyway, i guess Tiesto made a vinyl of his own from this track, he certainly has the possibility to do that, he's Tiesto, eh ?

I think i should email Jurgen Leyers again to ask him about the release date of the promo and maybe send him this exerpt of the track we have, so that he'll compare and tell us for sure !

Yeah we should, because I've wanted this track since February when he played it in Toronto. It will be real nice to have!!!
I have the version from the mini disc recording, its "listenable,"... and it is cool to hear those dudes with the whistles..... and the crowd going wild... an unforgettable moment in time.... when everyone around you is probably thinking the same thing..... "wow...that is awesome"

Yeah, I was there with 11 friends, we drove from Chicago, and when Tiesto played Souvenir, we were standing in the middle of the main floor, under the GREEN LASER that just tunneled over the entire crowd, (the laser is so incredibly awesome).
Tiesto looked like a GOD up there... the entire Docks complex was going nuts during that peak, it was almost too much to take in... but that is what it is all about... a moment you will never forget.
I convinced a couple of the friends in the group to come along, but they were not into trance AT ALL.... and then they had the experience.... and they will never forget Toronto, or Tiesto... because now all they talk about is going back... they are addicted to trance because its just so powerful!!
So hopefully Tiesto comes back to Toronto in Sept/October, otherwise we can catch him in Austin, Texas on September 15 with Max Graham.... This is an event thrown by Ark Entertainment, called "Return to the Lost Ark" It sounds pretty cool... but its obviously in the States, so it will never be as cool and laid back as Canada, or Europe. ...And probably won't have a laser because the U.S Government restricts the use of those.... pppffff!!
....But it will have awesome DJs spinning the best music..... which is what is most important.

Very impressive...
Plus i didn't know it was way back in February..i do complain..having to wait for so long !
Which make me think it's really weird now, since Jurgen Leyers told me in June that he gave a copy of it on CD-R to Tiesto...the month before...so in May ?
And you heard it in February..

That's a new problem...

Extremely weird... unless he made a mistake in what he said to you in the email...
...but in the end, this is still unbelievable how hyped up this track has been... but trust me... it is simply pure energy!!

You have the FULL thing? even if it is only a recording, I'll take that over 1:39 minute clip. Spread it around man! Put it on a myplay locker or something.
