I have seen him live, twice in fact...
He wasn't bad, but my opinion of Tijs and the other big name trance djs have dropped in the past year, largely in part due to doing the same thing as one another, with Tijs having a slightly harder edge (which granted, I do like)...but his mixing is imo inexcusable for how much he gets paid, not to mention baffling; how the hell can you dj for that long and not know how to beat match well? The occasional slip up is no big deal, but I can't remember the last time I've heard a set from him that doesn't sound like it could be mixed by a kid who's only used decks for a few days...
If he learned to mix and played his harder style instead of the Armin-ish trance that everyone plays, I'd love him again
