good morning everyone,
somehow i have mustered enought strenght to go to class this morning.. even tho we drove all the way back from DC last night and didnt get in till 4 am.
The Alkaline Trio show was amazing! Reggie and the Full Effect opened for them (as did 2 other punk bands, but we missed the first one and caught the tail-end of the second..) A lot of fun stuff happened i can't describe em all, i gotta go to class here soon..
A lot of elbow flying and pushing and shoving and giving people dirty looks when they try to push me and I catch em doing it, and meeting the guys from Alk Trio and making fun of teeny-bopper girls and trying to push them into mosh pits, elbowing the nerds behind us, stomping on peoples feet, and making fun of all the emo kids there with their chunky frame glasses..
heh
i had a blast, and i still cant believe im up and ready going to my 10 am class.. weird

This is nothing compared to the old PPR. It's still in the early stages though, so I wouldn't count it out.

I got to learn how to use the CNC router at work today...it is super cool (though I don;t like the model they bought lol) 75,000 dollars worth of machinery at my fingertips muhahahaha.

i could think of a lot better things to do with $75,000 than buy a router. right now i think i'd buy a lot of food because i seem to be hungry all the time.

I would not buy one for my house. especially considering that it takes up 50 square feet of floor space and weighs just under 2000 pounds.
But in the commercial fabrication business it is a HUGE labor saving device. It can cut a bunch of intricate shapes out of a sheet of plywood in 20 minutes that would take a skilled carpenter 3 or 4 hours to layout and cut by hand.
It be a noisy bastard of a machine though so earplugs in the shop ar e amust when it be running.
