No way soccer should be clean and about best skilled men/women winning, not the roughest toughest.

Look at rugby - they wear no protection and they are fine. But I agree, they should abolish all the diving somehow.

That's the big problem selling soccer to hockey and football fans in North America. It's too clean.

From a casual watcher perspective, perhaps video instant replays (as allowed in other sports recently) should be fix all those faking wusses.

Maybe it's a problem with North America rather than soccer. Considering its popularity outside North America, I guess I am right

Two wrongs don't make it right!

You're obviously an idiot if you're missing why I would take offence to someone calling Portugal a 'shithole'. What two wrongs?

Dude. It's like you're new to forums. On forums, admins are Gods. You do not anger them in any way, or go against what they say; they are never wrong, always right (if they say the earth is flat, guess what? The earth is flat). Capiche?

Given the context of my reply I fail to see where being an Admin means anything in relation to the nature of his comments. It's a game of football, and as such comments should be related to the game and not geo/political/socio-economic/etc. opinions of the country the players belong to. Further, I'm not one to mod the forums with a heavy hand, I don't care if someone tells me off, as long as it's warranted.

No B.S. here, it's quite clear really.

Suddenly everyone , well not everyone, becomes an Italy fan as soon as the team they are cheering for loses. Why jump on the Italy Bandwagon? I'll never get it. Like If you had Brazil flags, and now all of a sudden you have Italy flags on your car, or in your window ( as I have seen alot latley ) it looks silly.

I jumped on the bandwagon once Holland got put out.. so what, it happens.. but I have reason to jump on it since it is my background It just wasn't my first choice!

Cheering for them is fine, Ya im cheering too, I hope they win, BUT I'm talking about the people, who won't even admit that they cheered for another team prior to cheering for Italy. Remove all evidance , and replace with everything Italy. Clothes, flags, MSN names, celebreating in the Italy areas, etc. People who just want to cheer for a winning team, instead of facing the fact that thier " first choice" has lost, and move on. Cheering for them is fine, But it seems like EVERYONE is an Italy fan NOW but weren't before hand.
