I agree with the guy from the UK. Just be glad that Tiesto showed up in San Antonio.

"He didn't play my songs"...Bad Tiesto...Bad Tiesto!!! It was not the "Tiesto All Request Show". I am still floored that Tiesto would even stop in San Antonio, Texas.

As far as the "Euro" looking guy goes. Please. Define "Euro" looking. This should be good...lol.

I noticed alot of people bashing Tiesto for being anti-social and whatnot...I dont know what the deal is after he went on but I was priveledged to meet him backstage right before his set. He was a really nice dude just like armin and ferry were when they came to houston. After his set I believe it was his manager speaking for him saying there wont be any pics or anything.

I enjoyed the set...there were a few near wrecks; but my main complaint was the sound system that seem very under par for the venue. It was powerful enough, not enough speakers to re-produce the right frequencies, and most of the sound was dispersing leaving it cold sounding. 0.02

Other than that, that was my first party in San antonio and the party had a pretty good vibe that I hadnt seen in a few years. Way to go guys...

Behold, my arse.

The night was good, very good considering we're in San Antonio where electronica is as rare as women with three breasts. The venue itself was excellent. Enormous space with plenty of lights to see Tiesto's "What am I doing here" attitude. The sound system was bad, not the loudness or distortion, but just the fact that when the best parts of a song came on all you heard was the VROOOOOOOOO VRAAAAAAAAAA of the bassline which drowned out every other frequency. It helped a bit not standing directly in front of the dj booth and go back into the dancefloor. This was about my 6th time seeing Tiesto, and the only time where he began to seem either like an old man, a pissed off man, or a pissed off old man. I stayed after for pictures, after EVERYONE had left and 15 minutes after the end of the set, he walked across stage BY HIMSELF and turned to me when I asked him for a picture, he looked directly at me and I got ignored like a 2 dollar ho. I don't know if the fame and status reached his big old dome piece, age is catching up to him (what is he now, 34?), or maybe he's having relationship problems which causes him to act like any other mediocre DJ on stage. He lost his magic, or at least didn't have it that night.

As for the positive side of things, good company as you'll see in the pics, hot women, large venue, and those bartenders DAMN, I fell in love with them, forgot to take pics of them though, still getting used to my camera. And here come the pics, I resized them to make them a bit smaller, so no whining! Suckas!

Pic of some of the TAs, all guys obviously...
Left to right :: Oscar (Non-TA), The_One, zenbudda (behind), Rememberence_, Dj Octane, Warren (in back, not TA), Ibiza Dreams (me), Asan (not TA), TJ (not TA)

This is the DJ before Tiesto, who was from Austin, I forgot his name, Zenbudda mentioned it to me, but this guy was dropping some great tracks... like Infusion - Legacy (Junkie XL Remix) !!!!!

The *cough* Man *cough* himself

These guys were a pain in the ass, but I like the pic.

Here I got Rememberence_ and The One posing like supermodels.

This dude was tripped out and wanted me to take a picture of him showing his skills, came out well.

Hottie pic! 3 girls having a good time, me wanting to show it to them (esp. the one w/black top). Is that guy slapping his monkey on the left?

My roommates with some hotties I introduced them to. The hot blonde was Czech.

I said "Smile for Daddy" and this is what I got.

Hope you guys enjoy the pics, I have 2 large videos which are good, one right in the buildup of Born Slippy (Oakey's Nuxx Remix) played by Tiesto. No place to upload though if anyone wants to give me a hand.

Till next time!

Yeah Lance was great. He dropped some really awesome tracks that night. I also got a copy of the promo CD he handed out to people in the crowd. If he is opening up for Oakenfold I might actually go and check it out.

He is the early opener along with Jason Jenkins... another great guy, and Liquid Todd is also there.

It's going to be a great night
