my dad just arrived in lebanon the day before it happened. He wasnt anywhere close to the incident but even he sounded pretty shocked and unsure.

He said there is a rumor that a country other than syria might have done it just so the west can get the syrian army out of lebanono and hezbollah to back off all in one fell sweep. So whoever that country is just has to sit back and watch the show. Ingenious no?

As for Lebs in Canada, well...there are tons in Montreal, which is really all that matters since we don't usually recognize anyone as worthy or dignified enough to warrant mention outside of the borders of our beautiful city. And yes, I do have cousins in Sydney and I shall be visiting them soon enough
