Weekend report
Huge batch of pics from the parties in Oslo that I went to this weekend. First from Little Louie Vega @ Kaare Hansen:

Cameras ready, prepare to flash..

The brunette in the lower right corner was HOT. Too bad I never got a proper shot of her.

A very good night out. Vega played a set full of that percussive and to the bone house music that he's known for, with a bunch of classics thrown in for good measure, like Donna Summer - I Feel Love and Jungle Brothers - I'll House You.
Kaare Hansen is also one of the classiest venues I've been to for quite some time, both in terms of interior and crowd. Result = achey legs and lots of endorphines.
Then on Saturday, I went to PI @ Serum, a new and (so far) pretty low key concept. Our very own Haak and Kimito Lopez were spinning in the main room.

Some drunk guy bumped into my arm just as I took this, but it ended up pretty cool anyways.

I was too wrecked from Vega the night before to dance much, so I managed to notice most of the stuff going on. Venue was ghetto as hell (though not without a certain underground charm), and the crowd had one of the weirdest mixtures of subcultures I've ever seen at an EDM event (1 G-Unit t-shirt wearing hiphopper and 3 goths dancing to Leon Bolier - Back In The Days anyone?)
It could've turned very ugly, but apart from one drunk guy who got thrown out pretty quickly, everyone seemed to have tons of good vibes and minds set on having a good time. As a result, things went right off. Tunes that I can remember:
Cari Lekebusch - Do You Like Acid?
Luke Dzierzek - Echo
Logic Sisters - Wildes Haar
Error Error - Is It Love?
Gregor Tresher - Still
Tracid & Zenker - Aktionsradius
Sontec - The Locko Train
Mode Hookers - Breathe (Instrumental)
some Estuera tune
Ija - You Are Here
Leon Bolier pres. Surpresa - Back In The Days
Haak - Bedlam
The Blackmaster - Faith Forever
The Blackmaster - Black Is Back
Body Shock - Ghosts In The Church
Sunscreem vs Push - Please Save Me
Oliver Lieb pres. Smoked - Metropolis (US Mix)
Ronski Speed with Stoneface & Terminal - Incognition
Midway - Monkey Forest
Systematic Parts - Deja-Vu (last tune)
Fun times. This'll be a costly month for me though. Next friday I'll be back to see Plaid. Then two weeks later Legowelt are playing with Orgue Electronique and Luke Eargoggle, on the same day that Cor Fijneman and Mark Norman's 80 Days Tour stops by Oslo. Then 2 weeks after that Bjørn Svin and Bill Youngman are coming to Oslo and god knows what else after that.
Oh well.
