ok, we have the HP obviously. It's not something I'm keen on and certainly won't offer any good taste to a good piece of steak (I heard from many people that fresh meat & bread in north america is very poor compared to the uk - any thoughts?) however I do like the odd bit of that with a gammon steak.

Bread maybe, but steak? I don't think so. When I was in London last year I had steak there and it was ok but I've had much better here at home. Ruth's Chris' Steakhouse is AMAZING.

there's many types of steak/meat here. we have some cheap & tasteless, but if you have the money or know where to shop, there's some amazing stuff, it's just knowing what to buy
