The whole bifurcation of forums? I didn't like that idea either. Keep genres together in one music discussion, it helps people break out of niches easier. I'm driven by basslines (and Honda).. but the tunes that REALLY own me are the ones with lots of melody layered with moving basslines that change scale...
I find most trance tracks have static basslines and tend to be more about melody...
HAving said that, I'll dance to a drunk alien beating a bucket when I'm in the mood...
