I disagree. Armin does his own thing. He only plays new tunes and a very different style. Trance and progressive, simply..

Sure Tiësto may play a few old tunes, but he picks tunes that fit good in the set... and also tunes that maybe haven't gotten enough attention.
Tiësto's second hour is always good, not very melodic which I like. If he were to spin only trance that Armin does then this would be just a copycat show where you hear nothing out of the ordinary ~ pointless.

Armin seems to spin mostly promos he receives from artists.
Sure Tiësto does that too, but my impression is that he actually explores more for tunes for each show.

^^^ I have to agree with you because other shows only play new tracks, promos, etc. Armin plays tracks only once since ther not fit for the club. I am glad that DJ Tiesto throws in some classics and tracks from months ago. So far its been good but I find it awkard that he plays a few house tracks which is fine but there dumbed down in trancish remixes. Very bad indeed
