Perhaps maldini was the wrong example to give to highlight my point which was that italian footballers have historically not been the fastest of the lot.

You could probably pick any player in the Milan squad and say that they could not keep up with most of the Arsenal players .. guess the Italian style of football isnt suited for speed

any italian player? true. their game is not built on speed. just strong tactical defense and proper counter-attack distribution (mostly via longball).

however milan does have Kaladze and he is fucking awesome

The arsenal game was just w0w.....

The only other game i saw was the barca game and that was shit.

As a Milanese, i'm sad to see us go out so early, but i have no problem with losing to Arsenal.

pato is a real striker, just need a year or two under his belt. once he learns the game, he has enough raw talent to dominate just as Sheva and Bierhoff once did.

Mirko vucinic is quite a player. Never really seen much of him, but he made a huge difference when he came on for mancini
