I think cops realize the futile battle too. Me and a couple friends were surrounded one time in our car while smoking 3 blunts. They tried scaring us by saying we were definately going to jail. I was too stoned to care. They ended up telling us to take our weed back across the bay, they didn't want to see us again, and let us go.
