Fun party, sore today. Arrived just after 9 and waited about 15 min to get in. MO was hitting it pretty hard early on and then made my way to the main room and saw those new lights on the dj booth. they can light up pretty bright sometimes..then waited for mark knight to start, just after 11 i think (30 min behind) but i had alot of fun and stayed till 12 when i made my way to hear armin open. stayed until 1 when i went to the drink and stayed for an hour listening to AA. Excellent time had up there, I also didnt realize they had cannons in the drink either...i think i fat cannon in the KH by the shiny disco ball should be looked at for next all access. surprise!

then listned to armin again for another hour before makin my way to the tent to hear the end of mstkrft and the start of aokis. dammmn Aoki was insane! excellent tunes, crazy crowd, overall alot of fun. then around 4 I went and checked out A+S. too bad hte front speakers kept cutting out..real shame there but Be was fun to hear!! (over and over and over again..). That concluded part A of the night, at 5 i went back into the KH for armin till the end and fcukshow did he step it up and blow me away. It was satelite that was the moment it all started and from there on was non stop moments till the very end!

nice meeting new TAs, others, and seeing the usuals. Night was topped off with zone till 1 before driving back to london :S ugh so tired

AJ.. if it is meant to be... u will find Abby again!

Ya, no worries dude! I should have asked her for her number too instead of me finding her later. I usually have no probs finding people there later nights, but it sure was a packed mess that night.

I've been looking for her in all the party pix so far, as well as looking through all the list of attendees in the FB groups too. Maybe she'll spot my pix?

Ok where to start…

Very Glad I was in attendance this year, I ended up getting in by 10, and danced around and listened to MO play for about 30 mins while waiting to get into guv in a sort of ridiculous line up.

Got into Guv just a bit before Mark Knight was suppose to start, met up with Jeff and hung out for while and shortly after that met up with a number of TA’s and caught a bit of the junkies set which was a good opener they had the place going off for the few minutes it was packed, but once the Skybar opened it emptied pretty quickly. Around 10:50 -11 MK came on and started hard and strong from the get go, I was there for pretty much the entire set I enjoyed it quite a bit with out any questions to be asked however at the end he did seemed to be a bit drunk (IMO) Then I was off to the Skybar to catch Tom Novy… where I had met up with Matt, we had a decent amount of room for IMO the best set of the night… some good Deep House. We were saying how great it would be to hear Your Body by Tom Novy, and both remarked that it probably would never happen, and literally 30 seconds later “I don’t no body” such good timing… Stayed up there for the entire thing … afterwards we went back to KH and caught a bit of Armin then I decided to go back to main room for some SA & SI had a great time danced hard … I was in and out of main room for the whole night and when I was there it was pretty great, and yes there track list was pretty predictable but considering I missed them while I was in NYC I had no complaints. I did end up in the Tent for the End of MSTRKRFT and the beginning of Steve Aoki, which was a lot of fun had the crowd going with a good vibe, but then decided to head back to Main room where I stayed for a 2hours or so before heading to Acid Lounge. YM was tearing it up but no surprise there… At the end I decided to end the night with Armin so at 7:50 I made my way over to KH again and thought he would be ending shortly he went for a bit over 8:30. … and was shocked I wont lie though I enjoyed every second of it danced hard till the very end ….

All in all Good Times

Good friends (New and Old)

And Good Tunes

Nice meeting a lot of new people ( keep in touch ) and we will party again eventually if not soon

As well as meeting up with some old friends whom mere a great addition to talk and party with

So thank you all …

It's a combination of Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso.

I've noticed that every time Armin is in town, the best reviews emphasize how many classics he played. Is this the most important thing in a trance set these days? If he didn't play classics, would that make it a bad set? Isn't there any new good trance being produced?

Mark Knight was wasted and great.
Tom Novy sucked just as bad as he did when I saw him at Space.
Angello and Ingrosso were good and really into it.
Armin kinda sucked - I really think I'm over trance for good.

Guv was busy but not rammed. Hot but not too hot.

All in all I was glad I went last minute to continue the streak of LOL's.

I think you answered that question for yourself....there isn't any good new trance....hasn't been for at least 2 years, IMO
