I strenuously resent you equating established scientific and historical fact with propaganda. If anything, it is films like zeitgeist that resemble government propaganda, if from the opposite point of view.

again, i think the comparison is a little unfair. good ideas, good theory and honest writing is normally self-evident. i also find your attempt to compare 'alternative' journalism with the lies and dishonesty found in something like zeitgeist to be WAY off base.

i have no problem with competing points of view, or even biased opinion pieces. i just cant stomach those that tell lies, and the first 40 minutes or so of zeitgeist is full of them. that's not 'alternative' or 'sticking it to the man', its lazy, unprofessional research and people should be ashamed of themselves for making it.

my issue with zeitgiest has nothing to do with alternative opinions and everything to do with numerous factual errors and outright lies.

sorry, i must have missed the part where i fell back on some form of mainstream media, unless youre attempting to contend that ALL the factual and relevant historical data is somehow "mainstream" rather than simply "factual". i have presented economic analysis at some length, and explained what the central banks do and how they work. i hardly think thats the same thing.

^^ all of that is just a long way of me saying that the conspiracy theories concerning the federal reserve are demonstrably incorrect, which has nothing to do with opinion. its just established fact.

i dont ignore zeitgeist because it is "alternative". i ignore it because it is wrong (as far as the fed goes). that's a big difference imo.

i said at the top of my post that i respect where you are coming from and then i used two examples, admittedly reductionist and not the best to explain the root differences between our beliefs (those articles were the best i could find in the short time i have between calls at work, but the US government one is quite similar to that 10 rules to conspiracy theories you are always posting :P)

i know you cant be categorised as someone who gets all their information from the mass media just like i dont only listen to the alternative media for all my news, i was just trying to make a point. saying that everything in zeitgeist is nothing but a two hour lie is as equally fallacious as saying that the mass media only speaks the truth. things are never that black or white except for michael jacksons' love for three inch cock

here is where i previously wrote a big rant about how historical data is not always accurate winner writes the history books rah rah rah example here example there but i cant be fucked writing it again except to say its quite interesting to see the mainstream medias mass deja vu on the similarities between JP Morgans actions now and in the early 90s. seeing nothing on this issue is a much bigger cause for alarm than if we saw somethign in a major media source saying its all a coincidence. i want to be a journalist but fuck journalism is in such a sorry state of affairs! :/

and like i said before, im not focusing on the Fed, focusing on Economic Hitman which economic slavery around the world.
