Well, he is a metal head after all. He might talk about dragons, witches and Satan next.

I am by no means an expert on techno but I would suggest for you to explore the genre by going to as many parties as you can. Here in England we are very lucky to have an array of outdoor festivals throughout the summer, i simply can't be arsed to go out very often, but i enjoy the genre nonetheless.

My techno educational thread that was supposed to be filled with suggestions and historic information has been ruined by a pretentious American asshole that didn't give any suggestions that is remotely related to the thread, but also got the bad-manners to come here and start an idiotic flame-war so that people who would give suggestion just leave the thread.

Hey Mordbid-sucker. How about you take your idiotic opinions shove them upto your ass and then strangle yourself.

EDIT: Thanks to nerfardec and the others that gave suggestions.

I can't bare but to lol at this statement.

@ julien2: Nice stereotypical slur there, I don't think you know very much about music in general if thats what you think about metal.

If you haven't figured out some basic facts about the genre and haven't started the research on your own yet, without relying on other people's suggestions and historic informations, you're even bigger idiot than he is.

I have, of course. However I needed some help classifying certain sub-genres.

How about loling your way out of here. You don't know jack shit about techno and you haven't made a single topic-related suggestion yet, only managed destroying a thread. So tell me, where exactly am I an idiot?

Lol I gave a suggestion a while ago bud. If you want techno I'd recommend checking out Juan Atkins and Underground Resistence.

Is dub the more deep/progressive side of techno?

Eh, it really depends on the production. Overall perhaps I would say so. Probly not most deep though depending on the artist. Well I would say deepness definitly depends actually.

---For additional information---
(Defining progressive/deep)

Progressive:
Theres a couple term translations for progressive. The first term meaning gradual change. So in literal terms, all electronic music has a point of progression. The term also describes song structure in terms of stronger atmosphere instead of a prominent lead of melody. "Progressive" genres usually sound more organized/smooth.

Deep:
Deep refers to richness, intensity, thickness, and strength of song structure.

Your choice of username doesn't do much to help correct that image, you know. "TotalDeathXZero" screams of an adolescent obsessed with "death! destruction! Satan! darkness!" and all the other cliched metal topics.
