Well, you can't deny genres evolve. What's called trance now wasn't called trance 10 years ago and even vice versa. It's just that uplifting/euro/shit in general is crap, and no that's not subjective .

yes trance did evolve from like 1990 to 2000, its alot of changes through those years. but then it was over, it could not evolve no more without just being recycled. trance artist started making progressive house, techno or just plain house, while new artists tried to steal the formula from the most known and cheesy trance tracks from 99 (ferry corsten etc), the very tracks that defines the death of trance. so we had a new genre with supersaws only. armin and boys lol it was a sad run from there. at the same time hardhouse and hardtrance appeared and got instant success, leaving proper trance without a crowd. but that died too. it all does, only house will be for ever. dont think its worth to have another round here about this, it has been discussed up and down in MD and no one agrees. but thats how i witnessed it.

I still like some artists such as coldblue, simon patterson and above&beyond.

I don't know why you even attempted to refute what Fledz said when 1) he's right and 2) you're not saying anything different than what he reacted to in the first place. You're just used to listening to older trance and refuse to acknowledge anything new, that's perfectly fine but stop trying to convince people that your view on music is "better" than ours. I consider Andy Blueman good trance but at the same time i consider good trance (to be honest slightly better trance) things that are trance also but sound completely different.

And i could post anything about Airbase, i think it's the only producer that was and is still great, Ferry Corsten, Tiesto, Oakenfold, PvD... they made great tracks but now their music is lame. Airbase keeps being on top of his game.

In any genre in music, life, world, fishing, hunting, swimming, running, tv, movie etc. older people will always crave for the things that existed when they were young.
