umh, worked as a self-taught chef, 60h per week ~2k $ , not complaining at all.. and the chefs working FIFO for a mining/constr. company set in the north get paid RIDICULOUS money..
People are easier to talk to, a lot easier..
they drive at the correct side of the road (i m left handed so the gear box under my left hand is much more comfy )
small drawbacks:
almost everything alive in australia, in one way or another, is designed to kill people, trapdoors, redbacks, 'gators etc even a damn kangaroo will knock you the fk out if you get in its way.
there is real weather, meaning 50 C in shade and 70+ in direct sunlight, cat 5 typhoons..
oh and flies, lots of f*king flies especially in the north where it's blazing hot most of the time.
