Also, what are your opinions on Jenas? At forest he was massively rated, but so far, ever since he has come to Newcastle, he gives the ball away an awaeful lot of the time, is this happening just when i watch him on TV or is it week in nd week out? |
Jenas has been shit this season, utter shit. Last season he was touted as one of England's best young prospects, and you could certainly see potential from his performances against the likes of Arsenal, Juventus and Man United, where as an inexperienced youngster he was thrown in at the top level and held his own against some of the world's best midfielders. But now he suddenly seems to have stopped developing, in fact he's possibly got worse this season. Hopefully it's just a blip (all young players go through that), but I'm pretty worried by the fact he's been shite for months now.
It may be that he needs a rest, as he's hardly missed a game all season. Many fans think he's not putting enough effort in, that he's getting too cocky and that he needs a few weeks in the reserves to bring him back down to earth. One thing's for sure, he has not been worthy of a regular starting place this season. It's no wonder that Hugo Viana (who a couple of years ago was awarded European young player of the year and was bought for 8.5m) is pissed off at not getting a game when he sees Jenas get picked every week no matter how crap he plays.
In short, Jenas's major problems this season have been a lack of commitment, poor passing and no creativity when he reaches the danger zone.

I need to travel from Stevenage station to Newcastle, which will take 3 hours on the train.
What I need to know is, where abouts is the Holiday Inn in Newcastle?
Me and my mate will arrive in Newcastle at 6.45 (approx) which is an hour before kick off, at the train station, how far is the holiday inn from there?
I was thinking of dropping off the luggage at the hotel bunging it in the rooms and then shooting over to the stadium.
Is an hour enough time to walk to Holiday Inn and then walk to the stadium? how far is the Metro Centre from the main part of Newcastle? what good pubs are there?
I met a family up at Newcastle in March last year and it would be really great to pop in and see them again, it was a lovely pub/bar and I remember it pretty well,
I have pics taken in that pub, if I could post could someone try and identify the pubs name for me?
Thanks again.
