Crying racism yet again? and labelling all England fans as drunken, stupid, violence craving idiots isn't offensive? My point was that if people want to play the generalising game, they should be ready to take a few shots back their way.

the stage is now set for croatia.they have nothin to loose while england and there egos are fucked.the thing that is wrong with england is that its a battle of egos in the sqaud were every man thinks they are better than the team .You have to hand it to rooney though he did shine but the swiss defence was terrible if they had of been playin against a better opppisition they would of been punished more severley.

Note: Very tricky to get away with saying this in the US without getting strange looks from police officers.

^^^ anybody who follows England should know that they rise to the level of their opposition. Switzerland is crap and in the 30 degree heat, it was hard for them to adjust. What are you on about the egos? I'd say Beckham and Erikkson have rallied the boys well since sunday. What you're talking about better applies to the Dutch team.

what are you talking about? There have been minor scuffles..about 30 English fans were deported. The Portuguese officials have labelled all the instances as minor, and some of them included PORTUGUESE, DUTCH AND GERMAN FANS! The few England fans that are stupid and drunk enough to start trouble deserve to leave, but the vast majority are just normal, passionate football fans who support their team. As I said earlier, there were reports of English-French fans celebrating and mingling together on Sunday.

I don't care what Tiesto thinks. And that comment just proves my point...you know nothing about football. The Dutch have collapsed on so many occasions because of inter-squad bickering and lack of respect for the coach. Go to the Netherlands board and ask them and they'll tell you exactly what I have. They almost always have internal problems that end up costing them matches.

I can't stand cricket, but who just won the World Cup of Rugby? England of course. Anyway, we've both been told to tone it down so let's just keep this about football.
