Slowly I am coming to the realization that Vieri is getting older. To me Vieri is a legend. He has been Italys only striker for the past 4 years and without him they wouldnt have done anything in the international scene.

Vieri is Baggio. Not skill wise but carrer wise. He will finish his career at a low club like a Brescia. Although I belive that he will suprisingly retire unless he returns to form.

Also Cruz is shite! Martins is great but lets see him keep this form up over time. He does this alot, plays well for 4 matches then is shite.

Morrocan players havent convinced anyone. Also Cassano is young and immature I hope he breaks his leg

I think Cruz is alright. Not worldclass, but great as a fourth striker. He did really well at Bologna, but Im not convinced by his Inter performances either.

Vieri is one of the worlds best strikers of the last ten years. But his attitude and his obsession with himself can be very damaging for the club. Its alright I guess if he would be at a smaller club where he would be the only star, but when there is competition about the places I dont think he will be very easy to handle and could disrupt the harmony that is so neccessary for a champion side.
Last year during a Euro qualifier he got substituted when Italy was ahead and was so mad that he threw a watter bottle at Trap (which almost hit him).

But his speach during the European championship at the press conference when he condemned all the Italian journalists was the funniest shit I ever saw. "I can look myself in the mirror, you can't!"

By the way I live in MIlan since a year back, but I have only been to Milan games so far. I will go to an Inter game soon though. A derby would be the bomb, but its impossible to find tickets without paying silly money.

Yes Vieri is very pasionate which I like to see in a player. If he gets subbed he is pissed and I think that is good to have in a team.

Inter Roma should be a cracker this weekend.

Coming into the year both Milan clubs have strong ties to Lazio. Which will make all their games against Roma mean a bit extra.

Expect a pasionate atmosphere in Roma with Inter hopefully winning although I am doubtful of this.

Roma just got their new manager and things look good so far although they are in a bad spell they could see this as a turning point for them.

Mancino said today that he expects Vieri-Adriano to be the striker partnership this season and to give Vieri a break he will return to form.

Although he said this expect Martins to start with Vieri on the bench. Martins is in form and will hopefully keep his pace for more than a month.

Transfer News:
Vincent Kompany will only leave Andrelecht for Inter if they are eliminated from all competitions acording to the Belgian club. Also if Inter do move for them they will have to give up Andrelecht loan targets from begining of this year. I belive this will mean that the wanted players (Marino & Nossa - Inter Primavera Squad) will move on 2 year loans in addition to the payment.

Also it looks likely that Inter will now have Coco & Cristiano Zanetti back to full action by after the international games. A huge boost but will C. Zanetti have enough to displace Veron or Davids who have played well so far.

The usual suspects with the inclusion of C. Zanetti and Vieri will not be in the squad due to an injury.
