wow, really wow is all i have to say
what an awesome weekend! and this party was great! not because of the venue (which was meh) but because of the great music that was being played and the great people that were there, TAs representin front and center

i just woke up half an hour ago, kinda weird considering i went to bed at 7 heh but i didnt feel one bit tired when i went to sleep and i still dont the music definately kept me going, towards the end my feet were starting to hurt heh

thanks to Tiger Claw for keeping the tracklist, now i dont have to think and try remember what was played hehe http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...threadid=280774

both push and markus schulz played kick ass sets. i was a little, no, very, disappointed that the very first guy was playing hard trance, its a bit too much for an empty floor at 9pm heh then danny came on and kicked some serious ass. was watching this stuff on the sas.tv stream, nice little warm up for the party. oh and alje, i DID see you play on the stream when i got home a few people in the etn.fm chatroom really liked your set

markus schulz was super friendly. he was telling me how its his first time in van, but he thought it was absolutely beautiful when he flying in. and he's right, the rockies are absolutely gorgeous. m.i.k.e. seemed a little shy or reluctant to mingle with the fans, maybe he saw vlado's pile of 16 records that had to be signed lol

lastly, etn.fm and sas.tv did a great job filming and broadcasting the event. it was really nice meeting you all guys. thanks you guys for doing it. and thank you to harp and kamal and twisted and all the djs and promoters. this was a successful event. too bad the turn out wasnt as expected

pictures will be posted later today. i didnt see quana there, so i suppose my messed up pics will be the only official ones

great party. the beginning had me worried when i arrived and there was only about 250 people or so, but the place filled up real quick shortly after i came inside.

both, mike and markus, were fantastic! they played a combined 4.5 hours and the energy never dropped a single bit. strange world and open your eyes had me at their mercy. i wish he played universal nation though. that would have been so nice for me. now i feel like such a chump because i originally said that i would bring the vinyl to get it signed and ask him to play it in case he didn't bring it.

i had so much fun last night not only because the music was so great but also i had a lot of friends there. i was bouncin' all over the place joining one group after another. i was completely exhausted when i left at 6am and nearly passed out in my friend's car on the way home too.

props to all promoters, dj's and the rest of the staff for this wonderful event.

YES! its not vinyl but its better than nothing.

Don't sugar-coat it for me babe, I had a couple of really sketchy mixes in there, I'm almost positive. Still, had a lot of fun tagging w/ Shaun Deeb. Havn't played Hard Techno/Tech Trance in a while and it was quite refreshing and the breaks I laid down at the end there are just a few of my all time favorites (it seemed appropriate seeing as how the breaks room was cancelled). Did anybody record sets or the video stream? I'd love to see how messed up I look
Btw, Elena, for someone who doesn't like having their leg humped, you didn't seem to be complaining all that much
Big thanks to Harp n Kamal for having me out (ps I think my redbull is still in your trunk) and thank you to all the TAs and everyone else who stuck around to the wee hours of the morning to see me make an ass of myself once again behind the wheels of steel

What can I say? After waiting 5 years, Mike stopped nothing short of a perfect set!
Started out typical Push styles, very slow, trippy, wondering what the hell he's playing, and that's exactly his style! His set was one of the best I've ever heard, IMHO! That's what trance is all about, that's how trance is supposed to sound.... it's been too long since I've heard anything like that!

I didn't pay attention to the first 45 mins of Markus' set... to busy talking with Mike, so I must say Elena, Mike is definately not shy to mingle with his fans, did you notice how much conversation I was having with him? Mike told me some very interesting things, and he's a hella nice dude!
Too bad is Mike is moving away from trance... yes it's sad but true, but it was one thing we talked about for a while. He's not a trance man anymore I told him it breaks my heart to hear him say that!

But yeah, I couldn't stop jumping around and bustin loose to his whole set. My advice to everyone, slam back about 3 Red Bulls about 10 mintues before you enter the party.... holy crap I was wired, felt like I was on E!... prolly looked like it too, hahaha

The place was friggin EMPTY when we arrived, I was quite disappointed with the turnout, so I guess I should thank everyone who didn't come, cause you left a shitload of space for dancing, even right in the front

Holy shit, that place went nutzo when he played Strange World

Don't even want to bother with a Markus review. He played really good, exactly how I thought he's play, actually a little faster and harder than I expected... sorry, but the night belonged to Mike!

I met a shitload of people agian, Nas, Ryan, Loren, and... everyone else, wow, wikkidawesome people last night!

Left pretty much right after Markus set, kinda glad I did, heard the next DJ have 2 slip-ups before the first track really even began, WTF Meh.

Don't know what happened to our TA meet-up but I guess we all partied hard front and center all night.

Geez sorry guys, I just want to keep writing more. I just can't get over Mike's set and talking with him so long afterwards. I felt like I was hogging him, but he kept turning around and talking to me. But he knew I was a big fan and he saw how appreciative I was about what he's done. We talked about his upcoming productions, where he's headed, the equipment he uses, geez, he even showed me a picture of his 6 month old kid.

OK, gotta get a grip here, it's over now. He does love to come to Canada, and we need to get him here again!
More later.... hahaha, yes, there is more!

Elena, where are the vacant lot pictures?

That was awesome, I haven't danced that hard to trance in a long time. It was good meeting a few of you too!

Link to my photos (including shot I took of angelo's back and after party in vacant lot):

He pretty much played what was on his WMC Miami 2005 CDs. If you liked that set just grab those.

wow what an awesome night

I was the guy in the white beater up front and centre dancing my ass off. Good to see so many TAs up there with the big Tranceaddict sign hehe

I got there at around 11:30, no one on the balcony for the TA meet but thats allright. Dead empty floor when we got there, maybe 20 people dancing ?

Anyways, MIKE comes on and the place gets jam packed ! He started it of slow but it became a beautiful set I was just waiting for him to play Universal Nation, he never did Ah well, we got strange world at least (y). The sound quality was good but I noticed when he dropped filterheadz - yimanya and others, the treble/vocals were a bit distorted.

Markus came on at around 230. He played a bit harder/ faster stuff than I expected, but then again it's a rave so you gota play harder...
I can't believe he dropped Open Your Eyes, that was the highlight of my night Hmm was it just me or was he soley spinning CDs and no vinyl ? Either way his set was awesome.

My ears have massive ringing now lol, how could I forget the earplugs and my knees felt like they were going to break at any moment because of all the jumping

My friend (Entranc3d) got a few vids and pics if you want to check that out:
