Where Are The Tunes?
Good things happen to good people

Great opening night! The place was rammed and there was a tangible note of anticipation in the air. Don't know how many attending were there just to catch the launch night festivities or check out the Dish but either way, everyone was up for a good time. I wasn't brave enough to stay on the packed dancefloor (but I'm sure I'll hit it up in the near future) so I ended up spending most of my time on the 2nd floor balcony looking down. Really fun way to people watch... or in this case, mosh pit watch, lol. Sharam was in his best party form, lots of big bouncy tunes that set the mood for the night. Way too much fun hanging out with everyone, so good to see all the familiar tipsy, smiley faces.

p.s. I really like the girls washroom upstairs. So spacious!

My mini review:
venue - 10/10
sound - 9/10
crowd - 6/10
TAs - 10/10
Deep Dish - 9/10 (first 2 hours) 5/10 (rest of the set)

I will definitely go back to TiL but I will pick the events very carefully. Make sure the talent is worth the long wait in line.

What the heck is it about the womens washroom anyway? I was talking to this girl from Ottawa who's never been to TiL and the first thing she said was, 'oh, I heard the womens washroom is amazing.' Is it really that phenomenal?
