As for the Mansion thing.. Do you know how much Mansion is paying for tiesto? Do you really think is 150 g's. Lol.
I already told you the difference between BANG and a regular club gig.
Space likes to brag how its #1 in the U.S... but will never ever compare to the #1 in N America. Should be more liek Guvvy and KH.. You got all the e-tards that go just cuz its a bad ass fuking club yet they pull in almost any and EVERY artist except pvd for some reason. |
Opinions are opinions, and everyone has and is entitled to them. Other than your personal attack on me, I respect your opinions and agree with a lot of them. I am not looking for a fight, trust me I know you can kick my ass.
I understand the difference between clubs and festivals you have pointed out. Because while Tiesto has his travelling road show that always adds costs to any gig as he does not leave home without them, festivals present different costs [stage, booth, lighting and sound setups to Tiesto's liking) which organizers must incur. Tiesto's people are supposedly asking for 50K minimum to play clubs, which is what I posted. The 150K is what Bang is rumored to be paying him, not what Mansion is paying him. And while LP has all the money in the world, I have a hunch he would rather slit his wrists than get into a bidding war with the Opium Group (which may just have more $ than LP) and end up paying Tiesto over $50K to play on one night.
And Konijn you are completely right, clubs like Space do need to create reps by booking big name DJs like Tiesto and PVD. I just think Space has developed such a rep already that they feel safe enough in bringing PVD, AVB, Markus Schulz, Acosta, Edgar V, etc without having to give in to a bidding war type scenario to book Tiesto. Everything has its limits, including what some clubs will pay a DJ. A simple look at their calendar over the past months shows that residents are dominating over there big time. It is sad but true.
Just my opinion.
