I did get responses, yes. Some were quite obviously jokes, but some were also genuine. However, like the good little trooper that I am, I turned them down - just as I said I would all along.
Michael Howard is the name I DJ under, and if I ever decide to pursue DJing any further than the walls of my bedroom, then that is the identity I will make a name for - and all by myself as well.
Which can't be said for Lord Of Bass. Although the motive to get him in will be from a purely comical standpoint, his name being in the magazine will be nothing but advantageous to him. Why would anyone want this for him - he is a complete prick and makes shit music.
And finally, I can't understand the whole John Peel thing either. Last year we prove what a joke the poll is by getting a joke name in it, only next year to go on to try and get someone legendary in it as if it's some sort of honour? Can anyone really not see the shit logic in that?

That will fuck the poll too, but not as we've done last year with you of course, that's just another way to show how rediculaase is this poll. And we can get more non-TA members votes for him, as the last year a lot people didn't understand our logic and saw you as an "upstart" bedroom dj pushed by his friends.
