SET OF THE NIGHT:

TOMMY SUNSHINE.... YA, BELIEVE THAT.

Um EFFIN RIGHT!!!

I heart the tent and I heart Tommie Sunshine. He is the skechiest looking dj's EVER!!! I love it, I could just watch him dj for hours and dance my ass off.

Other than that, I hate Guv all access. Never again. Ugh, too sweaty and disgusting.

I saw a bunch of TA's, but I didnt really say hi. I'm too shy You wouldnt really recognize me as a TA. I'm more recognized as DjSketchbags gf. Hehe. Which is alright with me <3 But I'm a TA too!!

Big <3 to the people I did see. Hope to see all you guys out and about soon.

I believe-though I cannot remember for sure-that he said his name was Mike....He was wearing a green or grey hat with a lip last night: I definitely wanna get his ID confirmed b/c I soooo wanna party with him again. It seemed like once or twice every hour I'd look down and see this guy having the time of his life with a huge smile on his face, I musta shook his hand like 20 times haha. Such a friendly guy. He definitely knows how to enjoy a trance build-up: he was moving like the music was rocking throughout his entire body. Dood I hope you read this, I wanna kick it with you again, and I really hope I get a chance to see the pics you took (especially since I'm in some of them haha).

Though I am not 100% on this, I think this may be a picture of the gentleman I am talking about :

Anyone know him?

thx.

Digweed ~ the absolute finest of the finest! it was an honour to be part of such excellence of talent and skill.

a little piece of heaven for my birthday.

hernan was good but the last half an hour he seriously slowed down so much i thought i would have to lie down and sleep. he completely strangled what he had built up. too bad. i'd never seen him before but he was definitely good ... but still not as good as my masters digweed & sasha. no one holds a candle to these two. NOONE!

luke ~ i hadn't seem him for two years. same with brad. both of them have improved their skills immensely so it was great to see our two local prog boys again. luke however - a new digweed in the build. great job!

benny - omg! this guy is so weak! i had to leave after 2.5 tracks. couldn't take it. what a shame on behalf of the guv to have someone like him close the nite, - which however on the other hand was not so bad in the end b/c i got to see Ferry who kicked my ass for the next 4 hrs. TUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNES!!! OMG! at that point in the nite i had not sat down for 8 hrs but i could not sit down. impossible! this guy is a machine behind the decks! took me right back to my early ARIA days of dancing my soul out ... i thought i'd never say this but i think i'm going to have reconvert to some trance - but only to some.

in overall, to my surprise, the nite was a fantastic experience. this was also my first LoL. what i expected to be a horrible cesspool experience at the guv was actually fairly acceptable. not too too crowded, not too hot and the people were actually not the typical freaks that come out at nite. ... oh and for some reason my name was on neither g-lists?!? w t f? thank god for the g-list girl who ended up just giving me the reduced pass. bah!

great meeting some new TA's as well! Shade - Nat's look-alike lil brother! hihi! :P was nice meeting you & partying with you! the clowns, nuera and some TA's in disguise (aka lurkers) that i just happened to talk to. funny!! Karlo ~ what happened to you??? and Fahad my towelboy!! hahaha! thanks for the thorough towelling off from time to time. you'll make a good dad one day!

k, that's all i can manage for now. back to sleep. my legs are broken. need my beauty sleep. 33 tomorrow.

my cousin (who i see fairly regularly) had his wedding in Guelph yesterday so I knew in advance I couldn't go. I wish I had gone but family (usually) comes first and I'd never live down blowing off a wedding for a rave. I was contemplating leaving at 10pm because a few of my friends were there...but I pro bably would not have got in and finding them would have been quite the task. Plus I didn't have a stash, which I find necessary for these type of events.

Ah well, sounds like everyone had fun. I would have been up for seeing Ferry until 10am for sure. He's never disappointed me all four times i've seen him in TO.

I havent been on TA all day and apparently "I" started this very thread. LOL

My Review:

Got in early. Regular line moved fater than guest list line. No surprise there. Was packed from early on. Like crazy packed. I've never seen the KH so bloody packed. So Armin came on and it got even MORE packed! Seriously, he wasnt doing it for me. So not liking the music and not being able to move, I took off to Guv for abit.

Guv was actually cooler and there was room to dance! I was shocked! But there was one thing missing...the music. Hernan Canyonaro or whatever his name is was bored the living hell out of me. It got so bad that after an hour I gave up and went back into the hot and packed Koolhaus. Armin finished up and Junkie came on. I really liked his set. Alot of energy from him as usual. Too bad there was still no room to dance. I wish he was on longer than an hour.

After Junkie, the man I came to see came on. The music was good from the start and by this time there was some room to dance. But by this point my night was shot. I was tired and frustrated from a crappy crowd in a crappy venue playing (mostly) crappy music. So at 5 we left.

Summed up:

Music: 6/10 (granted I didnt visit all the rooms and I heard that tent was pumping)
Venue: 0/10 (this is no surprise, why do I keep going back?)
Crowd: 7/10 (I only give this such a high score because there was plenty of TA's helping me to salvage my night. Otherwise it was the usual Guv garbage)

if its anything about this party is the surprises the dj pulled, dropping tracks like "the colour is black", and armin ending his Beutiful set (DONT HATE) with SEVEN MOTHER FUCKING CITIES!!!!!!!!!!!

cosmic gate - Should have known dropped twice... im loving the cosmic gate comeback, always good to have some old flavors back in the cone!!!

Armin was spectacular 9-10, yeah he was harder, its better than the boring shit he pulled last time he was in the K/H...

I fucking loved JukieXL, i thought it was AWSOME how everyone was signing to "today" and the rest!!!

FERRY "the master" CORSTEN killed, KILLED, 15/10
strange worlllllddd... oooooooooooooooooooh

this is the greatest GUV event ever,

bennasi aint my thing but he suprised me cuz i thought he was shitt, (Courtesy of his shit song satisfaction), digweed was aight, same with cateneo, house aint bad but it sure as hell aint TRANCE BABY, and trance was delivered at the K/H!!
met TAs here and there, been partying always but never really talk to any, TAs, always a nextime
