Allstar break couldnt come quicker for the Isles who have officially as I predicted gone down the drain. At least we keep OWNING the Rangers. As well all know thats all we both care about. Dont deny it Ranger fans you do that fuckin Potvin whistle/chant during like Coyote home games

I think Buffalo though will represent the East. They are looking unstopable with a bunch of role players. Sorta Islander theory of a team full of "above average" players but playing incredible well. I dont think they can beat who ever comes out of the West though. Will be nice to see Kovalchuk in the playoffs.

Sad thing though this year which to me has been the best. No attention what so ever on Hockey. You have by far the new Gretzky vs Lemuiex with Crosby and Ovechkin and there is not a blurb about it in the papers in the US. These players are probably better (time will tell but now they are at their ages) than Gretzky and Lemuiex. If only the Captials had some balls they could get some players to support Ovechkin. Would be nice to see them both in the playoffs.

Dont forget Malkin who looks to be a Messier to Gretzky (Crosby) circa Edmonton Oiler time.

I don't think a single meeting of Rangers fans goes without hearing "Potvin Sucks" at least twice; it isn't confined to home games...overall, it drives me F*CKIN insane.

So true few people care...the next biggest story might be their new form fitting jerseys

Bottom line is the NUCKS are the hottest team in the league with a 11-1-1 record and luongo owned the skills comp yesterday shutting out every player except crosby. Kipper who? man im glad nobody talks about him anymore.

Worst idea ever to have the damn All Star Game on Wednesday...forgot to watch the skills competition yesterday and I'll forget to watch the game later and its not like I'll randomly scroll by channel 119. I'm a huge hockey fan and even I FORGET!!! No wonder the ratings for hockey suck.

So Kasparitius was put on waivers today, he has the third highest salary on the Rangers so I think it was a cap move...I wonder who the Rangers are looking to get

I heard Forsberg talk but I'm not entirely sure. Forsberg makes everyone around him better so any team would want him but he's ~34 and prone to injury. The Rangers would have to give up a prospect and a friend mentioned Staal but they need defenseman and most importantly they need to develop their young talent. At the end of the day I have mixed feelings about Forsberg wearing yet another jersey, but if he goes anywhere I PRAY it's with the Rangers.
