yeah, that's what everyone's using as a reference for saying you're wrong. They don't make minimal. Hell, most of those don't even have tracks in the minimal section on Beatport, which is inaccurate enough as is.

Ok this thread is leading nowhere and was biased from the beginning.

Minimal is not a fad because it is not a genre.

Minimalism is a concept, which has been applied to painting, sculpture, music, architecture, interior design, etc.

For example, you can make minimal trance or minimal architecture, though you cannot make trance architecture. Trance, is a musical genre, not a concept.

Now what is it that you dont understand ?
