Need I say more? He is arguably the most over-paid player in the league. The only other argument here would be Stephon Marbury who is making just over $20 million.
Rasho has a player option for next year for just over $8 million...assuming he picks it up he'll come off the books in 2 years which will give the Raps a sizeable chunk of money to go out and sign that final piece that should turn them into a legitimate contender. By that time Bosh, Bargnani, Ford ( ) should all be much better. Until than I think development is still the key goal in Colangelo's eyes.

I dunno... the thing about Wallace right now is that he's got no supporting cast in Chicago for paint defence, so he's doing everything by himself.
The Raps aren't much better in terms of interior D, but he might play better with Rasho, Moon, Bosh.
Ok. Maybe I'm just thinking wishfully and want strong playoff ball now, before teams in the East wake up and start buying good teams like Boston did.

Wow totally different paced game with Bosh around, 2nd half was excellent performance, and that lil block Bosh had on T-Mac

I only caught the second half. We looked pretty good, but still, we must have been stone cold shooting for what, 35 first half points?

I too think that something isn't right for Wallace in Chicago...his shooting is particularly awful this year.
but his numbers have been declining over the last few seasons...and that was with a pretty stellar supporting cast in Detroit. I think he was fortunate to cash in with Chicago and the Bulls are no doubt regretting the move right now.
the guy is far from done...but he not the guy the Raps need (and certainly not for the $$$ he's making).
Raps could use a young C like Biedrins or Bynum, IMHO. then again, who doesn't

Ben Wallace? Where do I even begin with this....
1. He sucks.
2. He's making $15.5 million a year.

Jim Paxson pulled the trigger too early, by giving away Tyson Chandler for free, while taking on a huge contract with Wallace.
I'm sure alot of teams now would love to have Tyson's 15boards/10points/2blocks/55+FG% now....
