I had one that was like 18 and she died from old age, and I had a puppy that wasn't even 1, but had to give her away because my other dog which is above didnt like her. Name is cosmo because he doesn't know how to stop and always slides past the door like in seinfeld

There are 2 reasons why I don't own a cat right now.

1) I'm still renting, and having a pet can limit my options should I need to move house (at the house I'm currently in, no pets are allowed)

2) Probably wouldn't work so well with my interest in bird watching Also, we have quite a few tame birds that get fed here at the house. I'd hate for them to turn into kitty snacks
