As far as I've experienced women like honesty, and most of them are very flattered if you walk up and tell them you think they're cool, and they have a pretty smile, so you'd like to call them sometime. Pffft that whole "try to be friends and then lead into dating" thing is crap. That's just being a wimp. My boyfriend and I did NOT try to be friends first. He made his intentions clear when he asked me out 4 times (I said no the first 3) - and then when I finally said yes, we were all hot and bothered by one another and didn't try to hide it.
