What if they are the citizens of a nation at war with the US? Would deportation not be justified? What if their parents were being deported, would it be justified to put them in care of the state rather than deport them with their parents?
What if it is beleived there is a crime in progress, or concurrently occuring, and there are material facts, which will confirm the beleif?
What if it is on national security grounds? Eg. people comprimising the security of the US border?
Personally I think self incrimination, or incriminating others unneededly shouldn't be done, but the other side of that is - is breaking the law knowingly or assisting others who break the law, the right thing to do?

I think many people would say, only some crimes are real crimes, and illegal immigration poses no threat to the USA.
Being someone accused of intending to illegally immigrate to the US to collect welfare - I tend to think maybe DHS really does take things to an extreme when having beleifs of an occurence as being real or imagined. But atleast you know they are really really really trying to do their job. And yes I agree it is clearly political.
However police had (have) been given many powers they didn't previously hold.
Question is, why did the police not try to obtain a warrant in a federal court? |
You have like some sort of degenerative mental condition right?
