About two months into quitting smoking we went on vacation with a couple that smokes 1.5 packs a day EACH... that was the tough part. But we made it through - even with nights of heavy drinking and temptation.
To be honest, I just had to look up when we quit smoking because I quit paying attention a while ago. We quit July 25th. I've never felt better.

PS - things begin to taste AMAZING after a few weeks of quitting smoking... you'd never believe how much smoking coated your taste buds!

work's always the hardest for me though, harder than when drinking etc I reckon... when drinking it's a habit, when working it's a virtual necessity..
