Just because many people listen to something means ZELCH....We as society are prone to following others...many people who follow do not voice their opinion; will just agree with the majority....I may secretly despise something but if I am a follower, a weak link..I may never own up to not liking something...There is music I have heard; that really really stinks...I may listen to it on the radio etc does not mean I would buy, download the music...Mass production in our lives is common, does not mean we like what is available...means we may be to to lazy to switch stations or delete the tune....Listening to something means nothing...Trust me as we are listening to garbage all the time and say and do nothing.... Who cares really...bigger things to concern ourselves with!!!!!!!!!But if you are the person saying you produced a tune and really you did not but you are taking credit for it...I would say then...your tune is so so as is your morales & personality....shame on you!!!!!

I......

I like Lady GaGa.

Anyway, this whole situation is pretty amusing. I read in a few earlier pages, though, that people felt digital labels can release whatever they want willy nilly because there's no negative effect monetarily.

This is not true.

While uncommon in other genres of music, a lot of dance labels have just as many people that follow them as the actual artists themselves, for instance I'm subscribed to Toolroom Records on YouTube, Mau5trap in Beatport, Drumcode in Beatport.... etc. This is because they have consistent releases and in the cause of Mau5trap and Drumcode I buy nearly every new track they release because the quality is always so consistently high.

When a label pushes as much crap out as possible people won't follow the label and the good artists will stop sending their tracks to that label, because they.... they release anything; they don't want to have a label like that tied to their name, and that label loses all credibility.

Yes, good labels will try and maintain a standard of quality, this is why they are GOOD labels. But the hundreds (1000's?) of others will release pretty much anything in the hope that something will sell well. It is for this reason there are so many digital labels out there....and so few of them are any good.

Sorry to revive...but I came across these two tracks which sound exactly the same, maybe Lemongrass allowed Evren Ulusoy (From Tokyo With Love) to use his tune, is it an unofficial remix in that case? Or is it just a copy? Anyone shed some light here?

Lemongrass - Coral Reef

From Tokyo With Love - Our Hearts Left In The Garden Of Silence

Both good tracks but copies, no?
