Markus + WMC + Space =

Great times last night. Got there @ 12 and Markus had just started. The mainroom was already packed on the dancefloor & side bar areas at that time, but it was bearable because the bar area behind VIP had room & it was cold up there all night. Markus played proggy the 1st hour, or as he put it, his "long hello." Was nice to hear him play that style which is different and warmed up the room before the demolition began at 1 am. From 1 to 3:30 you knew it was WMC, as he brought the energy way up with a bunch of bangin dark & techy stuff. Felt like he took it down a bit afterwards, but it was still good. I stuck around till 5, and wonder how late he played til. Anyways it was great seeing a bunch of TAs out & also having a good time. Now on to PVD, which my brain hurts just thinking about ...

That new Aerofoil track he played sounded sick!

BTW was it me or did he just not go over like 132bpm the whole night? I wanted him to play Forbidden City but you can't play that @ that speed lol

I also thought he was playing a bit slower last night than last time, which I commented to Spacemasters about. He took out the bpm counter & Markus was at 135 bpm at that time, which was around 4 am ...

It wasnt good or bad for me.
Set never seemed to go nuts like the terrace set he did this year.

he dropped so much crazy shit my videos do not do the set justice one bit. was hoping it was gonna get recorded but i didnt see the mics setup so i dont think it was.

Had an absolute blast...my first official WMC party! I took plenty of videos and will upload them when I get back to Charlotte. Matt Darey showed up mid way through the night---was cool to see him, since I just saw him in Charlotte.

I left around 6:30...was kinda bummed since Markus was still playing, but I see I only missed 30 minutes, so glad he got his 7hrs in!

Well rested & ready for PVD tonight! And I want to meet some TA's tonight!!!

Best party of the weekend for me. Stayed until the end. Loved it. They way he built it up, the first 3 hours were masterful. The last 2 were durrrty!

I will be back down in 2 weeks. Bring it on!
