Not sure how this would hurt the Bloc though.

Interesting... The NDP neck in neck with the Bloc in the Vaudreuil riding, where Layton from.

I think I said this before and if I did, I will say it again. It is turning out to be an interesting election, even though many of us didn't want an election.

2008 results

Also 7 or 8 of the 22 Prime Ministers we've had were from Quebec

I'm shocked at how the NDP is gaining popularity....especially in Quebec.

Question for you guys, based on the recent surge from the NDP in the polls does Harper still have a chance to form a majority government?

I think he may still have a chance only because there is still going to be a splitting of votes between liberals and NDP.

If there is another minority conservative government it may be enough to finally push the Liberals and NDP to merge.

Good point but I also believe that in this election we will have a bigger voter turnout then the previous elections and those new voters will mainly be the young voters and I truly hope that it will have a big impact to stop the Harper majority government.

If that ends up being the case then it will be very interesting to see how things will turn out to be in the future.

Interesting turn. Canada might end up with a Harper majority, or even possibly NDP govt if Cons only get a minority and their budget gets voted down again

Iggy's days are numbered. Even Justin Trudeau is taking shots at him

Iggy only has this one chance to get it right. If they don't win he will be gone. If the conservatives don't get a majority then I see Harper getting canned as well.

I'm really not sure who to vote for. My vote is going to be more about my local candidate then it will be about which party.

This is my plan.

Time for Iggy to go back to England or the States. Actually, ship him off to Nunavut to build our deep sea port.

I voted, as I will be in the US on the 2nd. I know for a fact that my riding is a close one, only 1200 votes between the liberals and conservatives in the 2008 election. Should be very interesting.
