Yes, it is, for intelligent people. |
With some effort, I still believe calculus is relatively simple. It's like anything math based, it's just following rules, really. That's a subjective opinion though. I've been keen on mathematics and science from a young age, so have found them quite straight forward, but in other areas I'm almost useless, like in retarded subjects such as Philosophy and Psychology.
.... well, that last part was just a dig as srussell's higher education choices, but the fact is that everyone has their brains 'wired' differently...... which leads me on to the following....

I was planning to go back to school for a technical degree but if I have this much trouble from the first half of a fucking basic class then I'm pretty damn sure I can't hack a whole degree. |
You should treat this as a blessing in disguise, to be honest. It's better to realise what it's like now, then to scrape through the next year or two until the shit really hits the fan. The key to managing risk, is identifying it as early as possible...... from what you're saying, you've identified it early, if you honestly think you can't do it with the effort you're willing to put in, it's time to move on.
Is it daunting and stressful? Hell yeah, but you already know that........ and you can be assured you're not alone in experiencing this.
I've been at an all time low, personally and professionally..... and within a two month time frame I managed to double my salary, move cities, repair damaged relationships and start afresh. Shit things can turn into fucking miracles.
Anyway, enough vodka induced babbling from me, have a think about what you're options are, mate.
PM me if you want to chat off forum
