Kota is also a Finnish expression for this tent sort of thing where people of Lapland used to live in... or something like that... but I doubt that's what it's supposed to mean

Tiesto - Dallas 4PM
Tijs was in Dallas, and thought of a melody at 4 in the afternoon.
Thats it.
BTW, 643 is NOT the flight # from Amsterdam to Ibiza, or vice versa...it's the flight # between Amsterdam to New York, where Tiesto regularly flew.

BTW, anybody got these?
M.I.K.E - Sunrise at Palamos<---where is this
Mass Effect - Alpha Scan
Sonorous - Protonic
Kansai - Rococco

...first there was the renaissance, then baroque and then rococco...

here's a picture of a rococco style bed:

well, palamos is in the mediterranean, iirc. alpha scan might be a brainwave scan, like a PET which is used for neuroimaging. protonic... well, having the quality of a proton, i suppose.

well rococco is a style of clothing, furniture, architechture etc. etc. from the late 18th century and nothing else according to my knowledge at least. the rococco style was very decorative and slender. it was a counter reaction to baroque, which was then thought of as too heavy/bulky and serious!

the name of the song isn't based on a piece of furniture, but on a european style of the late 18th century like i said before! study european history and you'll learn! and i never said the name of the song was based on a bed, did i?

if you have a better definition for the word "rococco" i'd like to hear it!

ure arguing me by quoting me verbatim,,i didnt mean to say its based literally on a piece of furniture....i dont have to study european history ot know what rocococco means...if ure (one is) aware of what goes on in this world, and keep ur eyes open enough , ud know its a particular style of ornamentation on art objects....

but ure arguing with me over rococco being a style not a piece of furniture...but still the point of how rococco fits in with the title has not been tackled....

that really is the point of the thread...how the sounds u hear inspire the arttists involved to name a tune that ...we're not really looking for the isolated meanings of song titles but rather how they fit in with the song as a whole....

in some cases the connection will be blatantly obvious..others it wont...so i guess decihering meanings of songs from their titles is a hit n miss thing....

for instance, why wud ferry name his song indigo....if someoen can shed light on the tihnking that went behind the naming...thats really what this thread is trying to answer....so ppl please more of such examples...
