Yeah, bull ants are fucking evil.

Where I grew up we had jumping ants which are similar. They're huge (about an inch long), they hurt like fuck when they bite you, and they jump. Quite a decent distance too, at least a foot Oh, and there are BILLIONS OF THEM. And if you go near the nest, they all go psycho.

Those are bulldog ants I think, least they look like them, jump like them and the camera was about at least 10ft away or they will come after you!

Looks sort of similar anyway, probably a few species of them... but they're all horrible, a bit over an inch long and a sting like being hit by an electric fence.
It literally makes you jump like you've been zapped, then comes the pain from the venom.

I've been staving off the hunger pains with my secret stash of M&M's and I've defrosted a couple of porterhouse steaks. Not sure what to put them with though, been mostly vego this week with salads, sort of thinking it's time for a potato bake with vegies, cheese sauce and some mozzarella on top.

How you cooking the salmon?
