It's funny because it's almost true. My first night out in Tibooburra (14 days ago) I went to sleep with the window open. There's some gravel outside, and I hear footsteps. For the first 15 minutes I thought it was someone outside having a smoke, but after an hour I realised it must be an animal of some sort. Then came the snorting. At around 2 or 3 am I was awoken by claws scratching on some metal outside the house, more snorting at the window, more footsteps. I shone my torch outside but I couldn't see anything.
