Well actually to be honest...

i did not get a DUI .. phew!

i was coming back home after a party and a sign said no turn on red, but i went anyways..then later on down the road i see the blue lights behind me so i pulled over.

the cop said i turned right when it was red.. blah blah.. "have u been drinking?"

"yes sir"

"how much"

15 beers and some shots of 151

no i just told him honestly i had a couple..he gave me a sobriety test. I had to keep one foot off the ground for 30 seconds, then i had to follow his pen with just my eye..

he could tell i was being courteous, answering all of his questions, all that,he said relax ur not going to jail but i gotta give u a couple tickets for drinking under the influence and for disobeying a traffic light...blah blah blah

so i get back in my car and wait there and figure how the fuck im going to go to court and all that. He comes back and sez i'll let you slide on the drinking and ill just write u up for the traffic signal

OMG i was so relieved,

i was this close from getting a DUI!! but i guess being honest and courteous to the cop really helped. I dunno

Anyhoo...

still sucks i gotta pay that damn traffic ticket now. Anyone know about how much it would cost? no more than $70 i'm hoping

Shit man that sucks. My sister got her second one in Virginia. She was lucky that VA and MD don't communicate very well and they did not know about the first one so she did not go to jail but lost her license etc.

As to being up....I couldn't fall asleep and was just perusing for a few mins. I just got up (barely in time to get to work if traffic is bad and I will probably be late because I have to stop for a shot of caffeine or I will not survive the day.

i just woke up a couple minutes ago, and being able to sleep on it really helped.

I realize now its not that bad, just a minor traffic violation. I came really close to getting a hefty fine there.

I'm goin to call today and find out how much it is.
