I love hearing the odd track I can ID, but I get bored as hell when a DJ is playing records that half the crowd already OWNS.

Tiesto gets probably 30 or 50 promos a week from all over the world - it's sad when TOTA can ID 80% of his set.

the current TL for this set on this forum has 25 ids on it! thats 80% of a 7 hr set????? what are you a noob? more like youve id 20% so far.....the biggest trance junkie last nite probably couldnt id 60 percent of his tunes last nite.

The debate over what percentage of 'old tracks' a dj plays is 'acceptable', and what consitutes an 'old track'. Guys, start a new thread on it and debate it there. Let's keep it to reviews from here. There's loads more to come once people recover, and no one likes reading thru pages of bickering (unless its really juicy stuff, which this isn't ).

+ 1

By the way I don't even understand what the debate is about - Tiesto is known to play for the crowd - I think that also explains his popularity - he plays songs that people love.

NEXT!

your not really making a point there. the track listing has 25 easily ID'eable tracks. Do the math now.

25*6=150

25 = #of tracks
6 = avg. lenght of each track

150 is the total minutes.

thats 2.5 hours of played out choons. Thats a lot.

ghey

i agree Nat .. honestly who cares

if you like his set, you liked it. you didn't, you didn't. let ppl form their own opinions.. why the need to argue.
